Jarrett Evans and Thayne Wolfe have been partnered in the ATF for nearly two years and their love and commitment to each other has grown over time. Now faced with one final challenge, the boys are headed to Arizona to help Thayne's mom, stumbling headfirst into a brand new case. When a man is shot on Dot's sister's ranch, their informal investigation leads to the Native American reservation bordering the property.

Juggling tricky tribal politics isn't something Jarrett and Thayne are accustomed to but, as with most things in their lives, nothing is ever uncomplicated. When a surprise sighting shakes Thayne to his very foundation, they call out for help and their colleagues ride to the rescue along with a little help from the FBI. The mystery on the reservation only deepens when they start putting two and two together. Questionable cigarettes at the Ahtunowhiho Trading Post may be the least of their worries.

From the mean streets of Los Angeles to the vast deserts of Arizona, Thayne and Jarrett once again brave the minefields of bad guys, bigshots, and a vicious betrayal that kicks them in the ass. But one thing is certain. Thru thunder and lightning, Jarrett and Thayne are never alone. They'll fight for each other down to the last man standing, even if it costs them their very lives.

“Why are you smiling?”

“I just think it’s awesome that you guys are so happy, Thayne. I despaired there for a while. I was afraid that you’d never find anyone to make you happy.” She looked outside to see them all laughing. Lincoln was slapping Jarrett on the back. “I like him too, Thayne. Jarrett’s a really good man and I approve of your choice.”

Thayne watched Jarrett’s dimples as he grinned back at Lincoln and he couldn’t help but feel overwhelmingly happy that he had him. He glanced back at Sarah who still stood beside him.

“What about you and Lincoln? I never got a chance to ask. Did you two have a date?” A smile lit Sarah’s features and her eyes began to twinkle.

“Yeah. We’re actually still having one.”

Thayne turned and grabbed her by both biceps, leaning down to stare at her. “Are you sh*tting me? You guys are on a date. That’s why he’s here?” He laughed as she nodded.

“He was kind of… well, he was close by when I got your call,” she said with much amusement.

“You were in bed together, weren’t you? Sarah!” Thayne laughed even harder.

“Yeah, okay, we went out a week ago and one thing led to another and…” Her words trailed off.

Thayne reached down and scooped her up, twirling her in his arms as she let out a high-pitched squeal of laughter. He kissed her on the cheek before setting her back on her feet. She was still laughing.

“A week? You’ve been in bed for a week?” he laughed. “You naughty vixen, Sarah! I want to hear every horny detail. How could you keep something like that from me and who knew you worked so fast?”

She punched Thayne in the arm the way she liked to jab Tim all the time. “Oh, sure. Just because it took you six weeks of living with Jarrett to finally do the dirty, doesn’t mean I have to circle jerk before I take what I want.”

Thayne burst out laughing.

“Besides, I’ve been eyeballing that man since the fireworks case. Can I help it that he’s finally living in my town and ready to admit his feelings for me?”

“Oh? He admitted he has feelings for you?” Thayne asked, still grinning.

She smiled. “Horizontal feelings, yes.”

Thayne chuckled and pulled her to his chest again, kissing the top of her head.

“Horizontal feelings are a good place to start.”
